“Hitch”-ed to my Dreams
I found myself awake at 1:30 and unable to sleep. The idea of being asked out in the way Sarah Milas was by Alex Hitchens in “Hitch” made me thirst to see it. So I searched through my phone and grew increasingly frustrated as youtube and netflix failed me. …
So, fully knowing I had work at 7 am, I got out of bed, rummaged through my movies and found the one I was looking for. Woke my sleeping computer (wish I was!) and popped it in. After watching the scene 100 times later, with some other additional ones, I finally felt ready to speak my mind. Oh, how movies move me to speak. Amazing.
The rescue he does for her at the bar… to the asking out through a radio… long distance. I wish for such romantic acts, despite being a pessimist of love. hahaha… Fantastically framed so as to match the constantly moving Hitch, Milas is perfectly situated until she agrees to something. And man, the moving shot of Hitch walking is so much more than awesome! … And then the mind continues as Milas continues with her interaction with … sigh.
I’m hitched to my dreams, for sure. There’s no way I can turn from it.
